Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI)

CAUTION: A short circuit to ground can lead to a fatal electric shock.

Damaged, energized cables and electric components can cause tractor components to carry live voltage without this being noticed. Touching these components can lead to a fatal electric shock. Additionally it can cause damage, e.g. a cable fire.

When a coolant heater is connected to the power network, a ground fault circuit interrupter (CFCI) has to be used.
