A - Wing Screws

B - Wing Screws

C - Gasket

On both sides, remove cab air filters and replace them.

Remove wing screws (A) and the cover.

Remove wing screws (B) and remove the installation frame and filter element.

Install a new filter element in the installation frame. Make sure that filter element gasket (C) is facing away from the installation frame.

Clean the opening in the roof and check the sealing surfaces.

Install in reverse order.

NOTE: The service interval is every 250 hours or every year at the latest, if the cab was retrofitted with activated carbon filters.


Change Recirculation Air Filter (Inside Roof)

A - Left Cover

B - Right Cover

C - Compartment

Remove left cover (A). Remove right cover (B) and radio compartment (C).

E - Retaining Frame

F - Filter Element

G - Lugs (2 used)

Take out wing screw (D), and lift out retaining frame (E) and filter element (F).

Clean the opening in the roof and check the sealing surfaces. Install filter element (F) in the roof and align it so that the gasket makes proper contact with the sealing surfaces.

Slide retaining frame (E) under the two lugs (G), and secure with a wing screw.

Install the covers and the radio compartment.
