Clean Cab Air Filters

CAUTION: Do not clean the air filters if the cab was retrofitted with activated carbon filters. Activated carbon filters must be replaced with new parts.


Clean cab air filters

A - Wing Screws

B - Wing Screws

C - Gasket

If required, remove the cab air filters on both sides of the cab and clean them.

Remove wing screws (A) and the cover.

Take out wing screws (B) and remove the installation frame and filter element; clean element by tapping it.

Install filter element in the installation frame. Make sure that filter element gasket (C) is facing away from the installation frame.

Clean the opening in the roof and check the sealing surfaces.

Install in reverse order.

IMPORTANT: Change cab air filters and recirculation air filters every 1500 hours or 2 years.

NOTE: The service interval is every 250 hours or every year at the latest, if the cab was retrofitted with activated carbon filters.

A - Left Cover

B - Right Cover

C - Compartment

If required, remove recirculation air filters on both sides and tap them.

Remove left cover (A). Remove right cover (B) and radio compartment (C).

F - Filter Element

G - Lugs (2 used)

Take out wing screw (D) and remove retaining frame (E) and filter element (F); clean element by tapping it.

Clean the opening in the roof and check the sealing surfaces. Install filter element (F) in the roof and align it so that the gasket makes proper contact with the sealing surfaces.

Slide retaining frame (E) under the two lugs (G), and secure with a wing screw.

Install the covers and the radio compartment.

IMPORTANT: Change cab air filters and recirculation air filters every 1500 hours or 2 years.
