  1. Blue INFO light - Lights up when there is a fault in an electrical component associated with various systems, e.g. hydraulic system or transmission. Review the error message on the digital display and eliminate the cause. See your John Deere™ dealer, if necessary.
  2. Yellow CAUTION Light - Flashes when a fault occurs (check the error message on the digital display).
  3. Red STOP light - Flashes when a serious fault occurs. Shut off the engine IMMEDIATELY. Review the error message on the digital display and eliminate the cause. See also Come-Home Mode on the following pages.
  4. Flashing Indicator Light on Left - Flashes when turn-signal light for left turn is on and when hazard warning lights are on.
  5. Neutral Indicator Light - Lights up when the reverse drive lever and park lock lever are fully disengaged.
  6. Forward Indicator Light - Lights up if the reverse drive lever is in the forward position.
  7. Front-Wheel Drive Indicator Light - Lights up when front-wheel drive is on.
  8. Differential Lock Indicator Light - Lights up when differential lock is on.
  9. Digital Display - Displays information for the operator and is used as a graphical user interface.
  10. High-Beam Indicator Light - Lights up when high-beam headlights are on.
  11. Front PTO Indicator Light - Lights up with light (12) if the front PTO is on.
  12. Lights up together with (11) and (13) to indicate whether front or rear PTO is switched on.
  13. Rear PTO Indicator Light - Lights up with light (12) if the rear PTO is on.
  14. Preheater Indicator Light - Lights up when the key switch is set to the first position to the right. Do not start the engine before the light has turned off.
  15. Flashing Indicator Light on Right - Flashes when turn-signal light for right turn is on and when hazard warning lights are on.

  20. Speedometer - Indicates travel speed in mph or km/h.
  21. Indicator Light - Lights up if iTEC™ is active.
  22. DEF Tank Level Indicator - Informs operator how much DEF is left in the tank.
  23. Fuel Level Indicator - Informs operator how much fuel is left in the tank.
  24. Coolant Temperature Gauge - Monitors coolant temperature.
  25. Revolution Counter - Indicates crankshaft speed in revolutions per minute.
  26. Reverse Indicator Light - Lights up if the reverse drive lever is in the reverse position.
  27. Indicator Light for Exhaust Filter Cleaning - Lights up during the cleaning phase.1
  28. Park Brake Indicator Light - Lights up when the park brake is active.2
  29. Indicator Light for Hazard Flashers2
  30. Trailer Turn-Signal Indicator Light - Flashes if a trailer is attached to the tractor. The indicator light starts flashing when turn-signal lights or hazard warning lights are switched on.
  31. Trailer Turn-Signal Indicator Light - Flashes if a second trailer is attached to the tractor. The indicator light starts flashing when turn-signal lights or hazard warning lights are switched on.
  32. Indicator Light for Remote Control of the Rear PTO - Lights up when the remote control of the rear PTO is active.
  33. Cruise Control Indicator Light - Lights up when cruise control is active.
  34. IPM (Intelligent Power Management) indicator light, if equipped. The icon lights up when IPM is active.
  35. Gear Indicator

    • Figures 1-4 indicate which gear is selected.

  36. Display for Range Engaged:

    • Letters A-F indicate which range is selected.

  37. Indicator Light for Automatic Transmission Control - Lights up whenever the automatic mode of the CommandQuad™ PLUS transmission is active.
  38. Indicates whether speed is shown in mph or km/h.
  39. Display for set maximum travel speed

Light test: As the engine is started, only those indicator lights whose corresponding functions are installed in the tractor should light up for about 1 second. If not, a defective LED or blown fuse may be the cause. Replace part.

Once the engine is running, the indicator lights should go out again.


Digital display

The digital display shows different types of information for the operator:

  • Time
  • Hours of operation
  • Travel speed
  • Engine speed
  • Rear PTO speed
  • Wheel slip in % (if equipped with radar)
  • Distance traveled
  • Current fuel consumption
  • Average fuel consumption
  • Total area covered (since beginning of measurement)
  • Area covered per hour

In addition, the digital display is used to make various settings. Refer to the descriptions of Intelligent Power Management, exhaust cleaning system, iTEC™ Basic and hitch.
