Change the Engine Air Cleaner

NOTE: If a message appears on the digital display indicating that the engine air cleaner is restricted, the primary air cleaner element must be changed that very same day.

After the first message appears, the tractor can still be operated long enough to complete the day's work. However, from the next message onwards, tractor operation is restricted for safety reasons. A filter change is then unavoidable.

The secondary air cleaner element must be changed no later than at every fourth change of the primary air cleaner element, or every 4500 hours or 5 years. See Service / Every 4500 Hours.

Raise the hood.

Release catches (A) and remove cover (B).

Unscrew the primary air cleaner element (C) from the cleaner housing, and replace it.

When re-installing cleaner element, make sure it is in correct position.

For installation, follow removal procedure in reverse order.

IMPORTANT: Never run the engine without the primary air cleaner element!

IMPORTANT: Every time the engine primary air cleaner is changed, the cab air filters must be changed also.
