Attaching Implement/Scraper and Control System

causym CAUTION: Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to correctly connect control hoses to couplers, when attaching TouchSet Scraper Control. If hose connections are reversed, scraper will not respond correctly to system controls. Refer to scraper control system's operator manual for correct hose connections. All hydraulic couplers must be clear of debris.

NOTE: Hose identification kits are available from your John Deere Dealer.

1. Identify control hoses (A).

2. Back tractor into position and attach hitch link to drawbar. Be sure hitch pin is locked into position.

3. Stop tractor engine.

4. Push implement control hoses into SCV I couplers (B) or SCV III couplers (C), as required, so oil flow agrees with symbols on hose identification tag. "Extend" hose always goes in left coupler.

5. Attach wiring harness to tractor implement connector (D).
