Aiming Head Lights

1. Park tractor on level ground with lights 25 ft (8 m) from a wall.

2. Measure the tractor height of head lights above the ground, and place a strip of masking tape on wall at same height (A).

3. Sight across steering wheel and hood ornament to locate tractor centerline. Mark this spot on tape (B).

4. Mark a point 36 in. (920 mm) out in each direction (A) from tractor centerline. This mark locates a point directly in front of each lamp center.

5. Turn light switch to road position and dimmer switch to low beam.

6. Locate small zone of bright light projected by each lamp. Cover other lamps if necessary. Top of zone (B) should be 5 in. (130 mm) below tape. Left edge of zone (C) should be 5 in. (130 mm) left of lamp location mark (A).
