Positioning Center Link

IMPORTANT: Do not exceed maximum implement weight specified in the Performance Ballasting Section.

Excessive power can damage an implement, and too large an implement can damage the tractor.

Adjust center link to required height by selecting attaching point (A), (B) or (C). The lowest position should be used when working with a plow, for example, to provide the greatest lifting height but low lifting force. The highest position can be used when working with machines, such as direct drills, to provide the greatest lifting force but a low lifting height.

Check for full range of hitch operation. It may be necessary to adjust hitch height limit. See Adjusting Height Limit in this section.

IMPORTANT: Interference or damage to tractor SCVs can occur if correct center link attaching point is not used.

Also check for interference when bottom hole is used when tractor is equipped with adjustable trailer hitch. Trailer hitch height may have to be raised or lowered or trailer hitch may have to be removed to provide correct clearance.
