Operating the Pickup Hitch

The pickup hitch is operated using selective control valve (SCV I).

1. Install pickup hitch connecting lines (A) to bottom selective control valve coupler.

2. Raise the hitch to maximum height using the SCV control lever.

3. Pull release lever (A) to the right to release the hitch locking device.

4. Lower the pickup hitch (B) to desired height using the SCV control lever.

5. Back up tractor and raise pickup hitch so hitch hook engages in trailer towing eye.

6. Raise the hitch to transport/locked position.

7. Use SCV control lever to extend cylinders into locked position.

8. Check that hitch is in locked position . Pull release lever to the right. Lever should not move.

causym CAUTION: Avoid bodily injury or machine damage whenever pickup hitch is used. Before driving away, make sure pickup hitch is fully raised and locked in position. Adjust sway blocks or stabilizing supports to prevent interference or binding.
