Checking Scraper Control Operation

IMPORTANT: If setup panel does not show the SCV number, "EC", and three vertical bars at start-up, power to scraper controller must be cycled or scraper control unit is not correctly connected to the tractor implement electrical connector.

NOTE: Adjust selected SCV flow rate to a low setting before verifying hose connections. Do not move the SCV lever into a detent position while verifying hose connections or system may become activated.

Start engine and manually operate SCV I control lever (A) or SCV III control lever (B). Pulling lever rearward must extend the hydraulic components and pushing lever forward must retract the hydraulic components. Refer to the scraper control operator's manual.

After cycling cylinders, check tractor hydraulic oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Adjust detent time (D) and flow rate (E) for selected SCV to recommended levels after correct hose connections have been verified.
