Shifting the Transmission

The SyncroPlus transmission has four ranges which can be selected by the range-shift lever (B). There are three forward gears and one reverse gear in each range. IMPORTANT: Prevent unnecessary clutch wear. Do not rest foot on clutch pedal when operating the tractor. Depress clutch pedal and move range-shift lever (B) and gear-shift lever (A) to the desire position. Gradually release clutch pedal. Shift gears and ranges on the move. (E). There are four forward and reverse gears. Use the clutch when shifting from one range to another.
Move speed lever (D) for four power-shiftable gears without using the clutch. Move right-hand reverser lever (C) from PARK to forward for forward operation, and pull the lever back for reverse operation. Gear shift lever can be shuttle shifted from forward to reverse without using the clutch. Operate the clutch when working in a confined area or making an emergency stop. |
