Replace Engine Air Filters

If AIR FILTER indicator is ON, remove and clean air filter.

Open hood, unfasten latch (A) and remove canister (B). Pull element from canister.

IMPORTANT: Remove secondary element ONLY if element is damaged or requires replacement. Do not attempt to clean secondary element.

NOTE: The secondary element (C) should be removed only when being replaced, normally once a year. (See Replace Engine Air Filters in Service/Annual Section).

Remove and clean the rubber dust unloading valve (A). Replace valve if damaged.

IMPORTANT: Do not operate engine without air cleaner or rubber dust unloading valve installed.
