Servicing Front Wheel Bearings

Lubricating front wheel bearings:

Replace plug (A) with grease fitting for tractors equipped with adjustable front axle operated in extremely wet conditions. Continue 10 hour lubrication until wheel bearing can be cleaned and repacked.

IMPORTANT: Do not use Moly grease or grease containing clay thickeners for wheel bearing applications.

Use Extreme Pressure, Non-Clay grease as specified in Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolant section.

NOTE: Repack bearings every 1500 hours under normal conditions.

Repacking front wheel bearings:

Remove wheel and spindle. Clean and repack wheel bearings.
