Cleaning Water Separator and Replacing Filter- 7710 and 7810

1. Thoroughly clean exterior of filter and filter mounting area.

2. Lift up and rotate retaining ring (A) counterclockwise. Remove ring with filter.

3. Remove water separator (B) from filter. Drain and clean water separator. Dry with compressed air.

NOTE: Indexing keys on filter ensure correct alignment to mounting base.

4. Install water separator onto new filter.

5. Turn filter until longer, vertical keys are pointing away from engine. Insert filter into mounting base. Rotate filter for correct alignment.

6. Install retaining ring (A) to mounting base, making certain seal is correctly positioned. Tighten retaining ring until ring locks into detent position.

7. Bleed fuel system.
