Draining Water Separator

Loosen bleed valve (A) on top of fuel filter. (See Bleed Fuel System in this section.) Loosen drain valve at bottom of fuel filter or bowl, and drain accumulated water and other contaminants.

Tighten bottom valve and use fuel transfer pump to bleed air from system when fuel runs free of contaminants. Shut bleed valve.
