Changing Hydraulic Oil

Remove plug (A) and drain the hydraulic reservoir.

Fill hydraulic reservoir (B), with HY-GARD Transmission-Hydraulic Oil between marks on sight gauge. Tractor should be on level ground.

Operate engine at 1500 rpm for approximately 5 minutes to pump oil through the system.

Add oil to the reservoir keeping the level within the bottom of the sight gauge. Raise the hitch (if equipped) and continue adding oil to the reservoir until the level stops changing at the bottom of the sight gauge.

Operate the engine at low idle for 5 minutes with the transmission in PARK/NEUTRAL position (12- and 24- Speed) or with park brake applied (Powershift transmission).

Add oil as required until sight gauge level remains between sight gauge marks.
