Using Transmission Disable Mode-Powershift

Disabled mode provides limited transmission function in the event of a transmission electronic-controller failure.

Remove panel below shift console to access wiring.

Disconnect wiring harnesses (A) from powershift control unit.

Connect wiring harnesses (B) together. This enables tractor to be operated in first forward or first reverse.

IMPORTANT: Disabled mode may not be possible with some operational status codes; transmission damage can occur. Review the following Operational Status Codes in this section.

Operating the Tractor

Put gear selector in NEUTRAL and depress clutch pedal fully to start engine.

IMPORTANT: There is no clutch modulation, so the engine must be at slow idle to minimize the shock of engaging the transmission in the enable mode.

Shift transmission to forward or reverse, release clutch pedal to engage transmission.

Stopping the Tractor

Depress clutch pedal and apply brakes until tractor comes to stop. Then shift to NEUTRAL position and engage park brake.
