Replacing Primary and Secondary Engine Air Filters

SERVICE INTERVAL - ANNUALLY *
 
* Interval can vary according to operating conditions

 

1. Raise hood.

2. Unfasten clips (A), and remove filter cover.

3. Turn and pull to remove primary filter.

IMPORTANT: Clean dirt from inside of canister and cover.

Do not attempt to clean secondary filter.

Replace secondary filter (B) every second filter change of primary filter.

Install new secondary filter immediately to prevent dust from entering air intake system.

4. Replace filter elements.

5. Install cover.
