Using the Brakes

CAUTION: Avoid personal injury. Reduce speed if towed load weighs more than the tractor or transporting loads under adverse conditions. Avoid hard braking applications. (See implement manual and Transport Section).

Both pedals must be locked together with coupler (B) before transporting.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT rest feet on the brake pedals during tractor operation.

Test brakes (A) with engine off to be sure manual brake system is functioning. (See General Maintenance and Inspection Section.)

Press both pedals to stop tractor while disengaging the clutch.

Use individual brakes to assist in making sharp turns.
