Using Hitch Manual Lowering Feature

CAUTION: Avoid personal injury or death. Do not disconnect any hitch sensors, solenoids, or connectors from the hitch control valve when engine is operating or key switch is ON. Unexpected hitch movement may occur. Stay clear of hitch area when starting engine.

Hitch manual lowering is possible when hydraulic pressure and/or electrical power is not available.

Remove small plastic cap to access the manual lower screw. Turn screw counterclockwise using a screwdriver (A) to lower the hitch.

NOTE: The hitch cannot be raised mechanically. Both hydraulic and electrical power are required to raise the hitch.

Turn screw clockwise and install the small plastic cap after hitch has been lowered.
