Using the Front Hitch-If Equipped

causym CAUTION: Avoid possible personal injury and tractor damage. DO NOT use the front hitch to lift the tractor. Use correct lifting equipment.

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage to equipment. Be sure load is balanced side-to-side and front-to-rear.

DO NOT use front hitch with ground engaging implements such as front-mounted blades.

1. Adjust implement attaching points. (See implement operator's manual.)

NOTE: Keep center link in stored position when not being used.

2. Remove retaining pin (A) and retainer (B) from center link.

3. Loosen locking nuts (D) as necessary.

4. Turn center link (C) and link end (E) to adjust length. Tighten locking nuts.

5. Lower lift arms (A) using remote hitch switch (B).

6. Adjust lift arms (A) by removing retaining pins (C). Arms remain rigid in position (D). Float position (E) allows hitch to follow ground contours.

7. Position coupler ends of lift arms (A) below implement link pins and slowly raise hitch until coupler ends lock on implement link pins.

8. Attach center link to top of implement adjusting center link as necessary.

9. Remove lift arm retaining pins (A).

10. Put lift arms (B) in upright position and install retaining pins when front hitch is not being used.

11. Put center link in secure upright storage position when front hitch is not being used.
