Lubricating Independent Link Suspension Axle

SERVICE INTERVAL -
 
  EXTERNAL FITTINGS-250 HOURS *
  TIE ROD INTERNAL BALL JOINTS-1500 HOURS **
 
* Daily or 10 Hours in extremely wet conditions
** See your John Deere Dealer for service

 

Use SD Polyurea grease.

Upper Control Arms -Lubricate fittings (A) with grease on each side of suspension.

Lower Control Arms -Lubricate fitting (B) with grease on each side of suspension.

Kingpins -Lubricate fittings (C) with grease for each kingpin bearing.

Suspension Cylinders -Lubricate fittings (D) with grease for both ends of each suspension cylinder.

Tie Rods -Lubricate fittings (E) with grease for each tie rod.

Tie Rod Internal Ball Joints-

NOTE: Lubrication of the internal ball joints must be performed by your John Deere Dealer.
