Inspecting Fan Belt Tensioner

SERVICE INTERVAL - 1500 HOURS
 

 

1. Remove belt from fan pulley using breaker bar.

2. Rotate tension arm with torque wrench until marks (A) and (B) are aligned. Torque wrench measurement should be approximately 31 N·m (23 lb-ft). If measurement is not to specification, see your John Deere Dealer.
