Using the Brakes

CAUTION: Avoid personal injury. Reduce speed if towed load weighs more than the tractor or transporting loads under adverse conditions. Avoid hard braking applications. (See implement manual and Transport Section).

Test brakes (A) with engine stopped to be sure manual brake system is functioning. (See General Maintenance and Inspection Section).

Press both pedals to stop tractor while disengaging the clutch.

Use individual brakes to assist in making sharp turns.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT rest feet on the brake pedals during tractor operation.

Lock pedal together for transport.
