Inspecting Fan Belt Tensioner

1. Remove belt from fan pulley using breaker bar.

2. Measure 25 mm (1 in.) from tab (A) and put a mark (B) on mounting bracket.

3. Rotate tension arm with torque wrench until marks (A) and (B) are aligned. Torque wrench measurement should be approximately 108 N·m (80 lb-ft). If measurement is not to specification, see your John Deere Dealer.
