Using Auxiliary Heaters

causym CAUTION: To avoid electrical shock or fire, use a 3-wire heavy-duty electrical cord suitable for outdoor use. Always plug electrical cord into an outlet protected by GFI (ground fault interrupter).

Auxiliary heaters are available from your John Deere Dealer:

  • Engine Coolant
  • Transmission and Hydraulic Charge Pump 1

Connect the heaters and the ground fault interrupter to a ground fault protected electrical outlet.

IMPORTANT: The ground fault interrupter on the tractor protects the tractor only and does not protect electrical wiring supplying power to the tractor. Test all ground fault interrupters before each use.
