CAUTION:
Do not add oil to hydraulic system with the engine running. Injury from unexpected hitch or cylinder movement may occur.
NOTE:
Implements with large hydraulic cylinders (such as dump wagons) can remove substantial volumes of hydraulic oil from the transmission-hydraulic system of the tractor. Removing too much oil can result in malfunction of the hydraulic system during operation.
1.
Check the transmission-hydraulic oil level at sight glass (B). Oil level should be at the FULL mark on the sight glass.
Approximate volume of oil available for implement use, when oil level reads:
-
Add Mark - Engine Off 27 L (7.1 gal)
-
Mid Mark - Engine Off 33.5 L (8.8 gal)
-
Full Mark - Engine Off 40 L (10.5 gal)
2.
Add oil at filler cap (A), if required. For additional requirements add only the additional volume of oil
|
for the application. For transport applications, use oil level (C). For high volume applications, use oil level (D).
NOTE:
Oil level above the FULL mark on the hydraulic level sight glass can result in power loss and heat generation during transport speeds above 30 Kph (18 mph).
3.
Remove the excess oil volume from the system when not required.
Optional External Reservoir Option
For high speed high oil volume applications requiring more than 40 L (10.5 gal) of oil, an optional external reservoir (E) is available. With the external reservoir installed, up to 15 L (4 gal) of additional hydraulic oil can be added to tractor without causing additional power loss or heat generation. The external reservoir may be needed for those applications that require a continuous volume of oil above the FULL mark on sight glass.
