| SERVICE INTERVAL - DAILY OR 10 HOURS |
1.
Operate engine at approximately 1000 rpm for at least one minute.
NOTE:
Oil temperature should be approximately 45° C. Sight glass observations will be significantly higher with hotter oil temperatures and lower with colder oil. See COMMANDCENTER SPLIT SCREEN-SELECTABLE BOTTOM-HALF DISPLAY to determine oil temperature.
2.
Stop engine and wait three minutes before checking oil level at sight glass (B). Tractor should be on level ground with hitch in the lowered position when checking oil level. Add oil at filler cap (A), if required.
NOTE:
Oil level will be lower with engine running or with hitch raised.
Without Optional Reservoir System
Road Transportation -
In applications where tractor is used for mainly road transportation and light hydraulic
|
work, adjust oil level to be in lower half of sight glass range (C). A lower oil level may allow tractor to operate more efficiently at transport speeds.
For Side-Hill Applications or High Oil Volume Requirements -
Oil level should be in upper half of sight glass range (D).
NOTE:
Oil level above the FULL mark on sight glass can result in power loss and heat generation during transport.
With Optional External Reservoir System
Oil level should be at or above the FULL mark on the sight glass.
IMPORTANT:
With optional external reservoir installed, oil level below the FULL mark may result in too low of oil volume causing malfunction when raising the hitch or using the "extend" function of SCV's.
