Replacing Primary and Secondary Engine Air Filters

SERVICE INTERVAL - ANNUALLY *
* Interval can vary according to operating conditions

 

Replace the primary engine air filter if the filter indicator light remains ON.

1. Raise hood.

2. Unfasten four clips and remove filter cover (A).

3. Turn and pull to remove primary filter (A).

4. Clean dirt from inside of canister and cover.

IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to clean filters.

Replace secondary filter every second primary filter change.

Install new secondary filter immediately to prevent dust from entering air intake system.

5. Pull on handle (C) to remove secondary filter (B).

6. Replace filters and install cover.
