Reversible Rear PTO Mode Lever Position (If Equipped)

IMPORTANT: Make sure selected PTO speed is correct for the implement attached. Incorrect speed can result in serious damage to the implement. Excessive engine rpm can also cause excessive PTO speeds resulting in implement damage.

NOTE: An audible alarm will sound if PTO speed is detected greater than 17% above rated PTO speed (gear lever not in correct position matching same PTO shaft mode or throttle is set high with PTO on while downshifting). A message will appear on the CommandCenter display and the PTO will shut off . If this continues to occur while operating PTO, reduce engine speed slightly.

causym CAUTION: Avoid personal injury. The engine must be stopped when implement is being connected. With lever in the mid-position, the PTO shaft can be turned by hand to facilitate drive shaft connection.

Make sure lever (A) is positioned as follows:

  • 540 rpm mode-Rear slot
  • 1000 rpm mode-Forward slot
