Operating Pick-Up Hitch (If Equipped)

The pick-up hitch is operated using Hitch Command lever and one selective control valve.

1. Insert pick-up hitch hydraulic hoses (A) into top selective control valve receptacles.

2. Start engine and raise draft links to maximum height.

3. Move lock pin lever (A) to the right to release the hitch locking device.

4. Lower draft links and pick-up hitch (B) to desired height using Hitch Command lever.

5. Extend hitch hook fully using SCV control lever.

6. Back up tractor and raise draft links and pick-up hitch so hook engages trailer towing eye.

7. Raise draft links to transport/locked position and retract pick-up hitch fully to locked position.

8. Move lock pin lever (A) to the left to engage the hitch locking device

causym CAUTION: Before driving away, make sure pick-up hitch is fully raised and locked in both horizontal and vertical positions.

9. Check both hitch operations for locked position:

  • Hitch should not lower with Hitch Command lever
  • Hitch should not extend when SCV lever is operated
