Connecting Hydraulic Hoses-Rear of Tractor

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible personal injury. Lock out SCV controls before attaching implements to prevent implement movement.

IMPORTANT: Hydraulic hoses can fail due to physical damage, kinks, age and exposure. Check hoses regularly.

Be sure hose ends are clean prior to use to minimize hydraulic system contamination.

1. Lock out SCV controls:

  • Lever Operated SCV-Move lever lockouts (A) to the left.
  • TouchSet monitor-Push transport lock touch switch (A).

2. Clean dust covers (B). Rotate dust covers up to expose receptacles

NOTE: Remote cylinder receptacles are designated I through IV with I being the bottom receptacles.

3. Check to be sure symbols on receptacle identification plate, indicating cylinder movement, match cylinder travel direction.

4. When using SCV with single-acting cylinders, plug hose into extend side of receptacle (D).

5. Push hose(s) firmly into receptacle(s).
