Using Rear Wheel Weights
CAUTION:
When installing weights, use appropriate equipment or have the job performed by your John Deere dealer.
Weights (A) of 75 kg (165 lb) or 205 kg (450 lb) can be installed on inside or outside of wheel. Ten bolt steel wheels require use of 75 kg (165 lb) weight as a starter weight.
NOTE:
When using 762 mm (30 in.) tread setting, only one 205 kg (450 lb) weight can be installed on inside of wheel.
Install weights on wheel.

For additional weights, install bolts in previous weight. Rotate alternate weight to align bolts with weight holes.
Tighten bolts. Retighten after driving approximately 100 meters (100 yd).
Retighten bolts after
3 HOURS
and again after
10 HOURS
of operation.
Check tightness every 250 hours.
IMPORTANT:
Inside wheel weights must have at least 25 mm (1 in.) clearance between weight and tractor components.
