Attaching Implement and Control System

causym CAUTION: Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines.

NOTE: Hose identification kits are available from your John Deere dealer.

1. Identify control hoses (A).

2. Back tractor into position and attach hitch link to drawbar. Be sure hitch pin is locked into position.

3. Stop tractor engine.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to correctly connect hoses to couplers. If hose connections are reversed, machine will not respond properly to system controls.

4. Push implement control hoses into SCV I couplers (B) as required. Extend hose always goes in left coupler.

NOTE: If tractor is not factory equipped with an implement harness connector, one can be installed by your John Deere dealer.

5. With Implement Mounted Controller (GreenStar or Accu-Depth:) Attach implement controller harness to tractor connector (C).

With Electro-Hydraulic Depth Control (EHDC): Attach EHDC implement harness to 9-pin connector (not shown). Key must be in off position when making connection.
