Positioning Steps and Handrails
Steps
NOTE:
Step assembly can be adjusted to either wide or narrow position. For wide positioned steps, use round holes in side panels (F) individual step and handrail positioning. For narrow steps, use square holes in side panels
Do not remove center bolt (E.) Step assembly can pivot to new setting while attached with center bolt which makes it easier to align bolt holes.
Change step assembly angle by removing bolts (A). Using center bolt, pivot steps to new setting and install bolts.
Use step positioning bolt (C) to adjust individual steps to match step assembly angle.
Handrail
Handrail (B) must be positioned in conjunction with the steps.
NOTE:
An optional mud guard attachment is available from your John Deere dealer.
When tractor is equipped with right-hand cab door, fixed non-adjustable steps are supplied.
Strap
Strap (D) is turned end for end when converting from one step setting to the other.
