Levers for Electronic Selective Control Valves
IMPORTANT:
Performance of electronic SCV (Selective Control Valves) or of ICV (Independent Control Valves) can be affected in extremely cold weather (0 ° F/ -18 ° C). For proper operation, warm tractor hydraulics before use of hydraulic system. Idle engine at 900 rpm for about 5 minutes, then fully raise and lower tractor hitch 3 or 4 times.
The control lever has four settings.
The remote cylinder retracts (A) when the lever is moved forward.
The remote cylinder extends (B) when the lever is moved rearward.
The remote cylinder is held in place when the lever is in Neutral (C).
When the lever is in the Float position (piston moves freely inside remote cylinder), implement follows the ground contours. To obtain this position, move lever as far as it will go forward, press it inward (into the armrest) and then press it further down.
NOTE:
If additional external valves are used, move the control lever to neutral when shutting off each hydraulic function.
