Cold Weather Automatic Warm-Up Sequence for IVT Transmission

NOTE: Left-Hand reverser lever must be in Park position for IVT transmission automatic warm-up sequence to be activated. If lever is in any position other than Park, diagnostic trouble code UIC 305058.01 will appear on digital display or performance monitor.

In very cold weather, below -8° C (18° F), a transmission oil warm-up sequence will be activated automatically in order to protect internal components. Transmission will not operate and tractor will not move until oil has reached minimum operating temperature.

To start tractor engine, follow procedures detailed in USING AUXILIARY HEATERS and ELECTRIC STARTING AID, in Operating the Engine section.

After engine has started, diagnostic code UIC 305057.01 is displayed. This code confirms warm-up sequence has started.

Information light #3 (See INDICATOR LIGHTS, in Controls and Instruments section) will blink as long as warm-up is going on, and stop blinking when warm-up is complete.

Once transmission oil has reached operating temperature, tractor can be operated normally.
