Checking Transmission/Axle Oil Level

IMPORTANT: Transmission does not hold the total system oil capacity. Rear axle and PTO are included in the system.

To ensure proper shift quality, an oil meeting HY-GARD or JDM J20C specifications must be used.

Shift quality problems and/or transmission damage may occur if the HY-GARD or JDM J20C specifications are not followed.

Check transmission/axle oil level with tractor on level ground before engine start-up.

If oil level is below the daily check mark (B), add HY-GARD Transmission Hydraulic Oil through fill tube (C).
