Remove large transmission filter screen plug (B).

Remove filter screen and wash carefully in solvent. Blow dry with compressed air before reinstalling screen.
NOTE:
Do steps 8-10 only for tractors equipped with the AutoPowr transmission.

Remove four cap screws and cover (A).
9.
Remove bottom drain plug (C), then using a work light inspect the filter screen through the bottom drain plug opening.
IMPORTANT:
Oil flows through the filter screen from the inside to the outside causing dirt to be trapped on the bottom of the filter screen.

If the filter screen appears clean, reinstall plug and proceed with step 11.
If the filter screen is dirty, see Cleaning Transmission Filter Screen in this section.
11.
Reinstall plugs after oil has drained.
12.
Refill with transmission/hydraulic oil specified in Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolant section.

13.
Start and operate engine several minutes. Check for leaks. Stop engine and recheck oil level after a minimum of five minutes. Add oil as necessary.
