Checking Transmission/Axle Oil Level-Powershift Transmission Tractors

SERVICE INTERVAL - DAILY OR 10 HOURS

 

IMPORTANT:

a. Poor shift quality and/or transmission damage may occur if the HY-GARD or JDM J20C specifications are not followed. To ensure proper shift quality, an oil meeting HY-GARD or JDM J20C specifications must be used.
b. Do not operate tractor if oil is not above mark (C) in sight gauge with engine off.

1. Park tractor on level ground and shut engine OFF.

2. Check to ensure transmission/axle oil level is visible above (C) in sight gauge.

NOTE: If oil level is visible above (C), tractor can be used for normal operation.

If oil is below (C) in sight gauge, perform Checking Powershift Transmission/Axle Oil Level in LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE-250 HOUR Section.
