Typical Dig Cycle For Tandem or Triple Scrapers

Scrapers should be lowered to the lower set point prior to reaching dig site. At the lower set point (A), the setup panel should show the system to be armed "A" for all scrapers. SCV I for front scraper, SCV III for second scraper and SCV V for third scraper.

IMPORTANT: The tractor must be at full throttle and in gears 6th through 13th when using AutoLoad. Gears 6th, 7th or 8th are recommended. Gears 7th or 8th are recommended for 9430 model tractors.

To start the dig, detent forward on SCV I.

The setup panel will change from armed "A" to load control "L" and front scraper will enter the automated cut.

When the front scraper cut is complete, detent rearward on SCV I to raise the scraper to the upper set point (B). Detent forward on SCV III to begin the second scraper automated cut.

When the second scraper cut is complete, detent rearward on SCV III to raise the scraper to the upper set point (B). Detent forward on SCV V to begin the third scraper automated cut.

NOTE: Unless it is desired to delay the start of the second scraper automated cut, the forward detent of SCV III should immediately follow the rearward detent of SCV I that raises the front scraper to the upper set point. It is not necessary or recommended, to wait until loaded scraper has reach the upper set point prior to lowering the unloaded scraper.

If the rear scraper type has been correctly set, the rear scraper will start the dig at approximately where the front scraper ended the cut.

When the rear scraper cut is complete, detent rearward on SCV III to raise the scraper to the upper set point (B).

1. Set the lower set points to be dump heights to lay out the fill in a desired depth. Results may vary with soil characteristics.
2. Make changes to draft settings between passes. Do not make adjustments during the dig.
