Use of TouchSet™ in Scraper Operation

A suggested and common set up is with the number 1 SCV used to operate raise/lower cylinder of the scraper (with pulling back on the SCV lever will raise the scraper. The Number 2 SCV is used to operate the Gate/Bucket cylinders (with pulling back on the SCV lever will close the gate.

How to Use TouchSet Hydraulic control for scraper use:

1. Press the number 1 SCV touch switch (Roman numeral I) (located on the right console).
2. Turn flow rate knob (knob located on Touch-Set panel, right side) clockwise until the flow setting is 10.0 (full flow) or desired setting.

To set the hydraulic flow (speed) SCV # 1 (Raise/Lower Scraper):

1. With flow set at desired setting operate the detent "click" to raise or lower scraper and count number of seconds desired for allowed operation.
2. Press the number 1 SCV touch switch (Roman numeral I) (located on the right console).
3. Turn detent rate knob (knob located on Touch-Set panel, left side) until the detent time wanted is displayed (ranges 0-19 sec. Or Continuous).

To set the hydraulic flow (speed) SCV # 2 (Gate/Bucket of Scraper):

1. Press the number 2 SCV touch switch (Roman numeral II) (located on the right console).
2. Turn flow rate knob (knob located on Touch-Set panel, right side) clockwise until the flow setting is 10.0 (full flow) or desired setting.

To set the hydraulic detent for SCV # 2 (Gate/Bucket of Scraper):


3. With flow set at desired setting operate the detent "click" to raise or lower scraper gate/bucket and count number of seconds desired for allowed operation.
4. Press the number 2 SCV touch switch (Roman numeral II) (located on the right console).

5. Turn detent rate knob (knob located on Touch-Set panel, left side) until the detent time wanted is displayed (ranges 0-19 sec. Or Continuous).

To Operate SCV #1 or #2 in Detent Mode:

1. Push or Pull desired SCV to full movement and push/pull extra to feel "click" which is detent position. (Lever will return to center but timer will still be flowing oil).
2. To cancel a detent and stop the oil flow, pull/push lever again without "clicking" into detent position. (Flow will stop)
3. If lever is not touched, flow will continue until the preset detent time (0-19 seconds) is reached. Then it will automatically shut off.
