IMPORTANT: Be careful not to damage sheave or belt when forcing outer sheave outward.

4. Locate control valve in gudgeon hinge location (A) under rear left-hand upper gusset of main frame.

IMPORTANT: Bleed screw (B) does not need to be completely removed for bleeding. Loosen bleed screw only enough to bleed oil back into reservoir (a maximum of two full turns).

Bleed screw (B) is an internal drain that must be closed after sheave has been forced open.

5. Loosen bleed screw jam nut and bleed screw (B) 1-2 turns.

IMPORTANT: Be careful not to damage sheave or belt when forcing inner sheave rearward.

NOTE: Retain vent adapter screw for reuse.

6. Remove vent adapter (C) from vent hole, then remove service cap screw (D) from storage hole.

7. Install service cap screw through vent hole and thread into inner sheave housing.
