Roller Lubrication

Check track and carrier rollers for leaks regularly. If shaft plug is missing, fill with oil and insert new plug, or replace roller.

1. Position harvester on level ground.

2. Remove the shaft plug and install the lubrication fitting.

3. Attach lubrication gun nozzle. Pump oil in until it comes out from around the fitting. If oil issuing from around the fitting is dirty or mixed with water, keep pumping until issuing oil is absolutely clean.

4. This indicates correct level. Remove the connection and reinstall plug.

An alternative way to lubricate is to place the machine at a 20° angle away from filler plug. Oil can then be fed in with an oil can or gun. Allow time for the oil to travel down the shaft and out into the bearing areas.
