Rear Axle Service

Every 250 hours of operation service the rear axle.

CAUTION: Before tighten inner nut, turn the elevator (A) 45° to the opposite side of the track that will be adjusted.

  1. Lower the harvester as most as possible and put a stand under the elevator swing table.

  2. Raise the harvester until the track slightly leaves the ground.

    Place another stand under the “H” of crop divider holding point and lower the harvester until the frontal portion of the track leaves the ground as well.

    IMPORTANT: Ensure that harvester is supported and free of falling risk.

    Remove the cover (A) loosing screws (D).

    Loose the screws (B) and remove outer nut (A).

    Tighten the inner nut as specified using the special tool 0290289270 (A).

    Install the outer nut (A) tightening it until it hits the inner nut.



  8. Loose it slightly until its holes has been aligned with inner nut ones.

  9. Turn the outer nut back 360° (1 turn).

  10. Tighten the 3 screws (B) according to the specification.

    Fill the nut compartment with grease.

    Apply silicon in the cover (A) and install it tightening the screws (D).
