Every 500 Hours

1. Replace primary air filter insert.
2. Service fuel tank (See “Service Fuel Tank” in Service Section).
   • Drain water and sediments.
   • Clean suction strainer.
3. To maximize chain life, move elevator slats to alternate links.
4. Check coolant and add additive if necessary.
5. Check the engine vibration damper. Using both hands attempt to turn the damper in both directions. If rotation is felt, replace the damper.
6. Check Fire Extinguisher. (See Service Section.)
7. Check Battery. (See Service Section.)
8. Visually Inspecting Coolant Pump. (See Service Section.)
9. Check Crankcase Vent Hose and Valve. (See Service Section.)
10. Check Engine Ground Connection. To be sure it is secure and clean. This will prevent electrical arcing which can damage engine.
