-
Service the engine air filters when the Diagnostics Gauge Warning
Indicator Light comes on and the Diagnostics Trouble Code (DTC) 107.0
is displayed.
IMPORTANT: When servicing filters, shut OFF engine, set parking
brake and remove key so dirt cannot be pulled into engine.
-
Unsnap dust cover and remove air filter. (See Service Section,

is no damage to the filter. If there is any sign of damage to the
filter, discard the filter.
-
If there is no damage in the filter, clean it (See Service Section,
“Cleaning Primary Element”).
IMPORTANT: Never wash, brush or knock elements. If using air,
direct compressed air from the inside (clean side) of the filter.
The air must be dry and the maximum presure allowed is 500 kPa (72.5
psi). The tip of the air gun must be held no closer than 50 mm (2
in.) from the filter media and ensure contaminant does not enter or
come in contact with the clean side of the filter. Never
clean the safety element. Replace if dirty. Never run engine
without both filters in place.
IMPORTANT: In normal conditions it is possible to clean the
primary filter 3 times before replacing it.
After the cleaning process is complete, inspect the filter again
to ensure no damage occurred during cleaning. If there is any sign
of damage to the filter, discard the filter.
-
If DTC 107.0 remains in the Diagnostics Gauge after cleaning
primary filter insert, replace the insert.
IMPORTANT: In normal conditions it is possible to replace 3
