Engine Warning Indicator Light

Signals in abnormal conditions such as higher than normal
temperature, lower than normal oil pressure, higher than normal coolant
temperature, higher than normal change of air temperatures, power
failures, etc. The fault lamp will flash or blink when a "Warning"
problem is detected and the engine will start to run at a slower power
rate. The fault lamp will continue to flash until the power returns
to normal even if the faulty condition has gone away and recovery
is underway. Use the engine electronic system diagnostic monitor to
identify the problem.
