Safety Start-Up After Changing Blades

1. Be sure all personnel and tools have been evacuated from the area.

2. Follow proper procedure for starting up the machine.

3. Start fan from 100 to 200 rpms to check for vibrations. (makes sure there is nobody within 90 meters of the machine).

4. Slowly increase fan speed at a rate of 100 rpms per 30 seconds until full speed is achieved. If any vibration is observed from the fan, stop the machine immediately and follow proper Lock- Out Tag-Out procedures before investigating any possible problem.

5. If no vibration is observed, proceed with safe and normal machine operations.
