Basic Baler Settings for Baling Silage and Damp Crops

Use the chart below as a guide for basic adjustments of baler when baling silage and damp crops:

  • A - Wheel spindle position/pickup width (Baler with 10.0/75 X 15.3 tires)
  • B - Bale density
  • C - Compressor rack installed
  • D - Tractor ground speed
  • E - PTO rated speed (rpm)
  • F - Windrow size
  • G - Starter roll scraper adjustment
  • H - Rubber bars installed on starter roll
  • I - Steel bars installed on starter roll
  • A.F.C: According to Field Conditions
